Having some real trouble with my NIC...

Just got round to upgrading my useless (but working) 10mbs NIC to a new Realtek 8139 10/100 NIC, but Xp is saying that 'The Data is invalid' during install of any driver (tried all available). My Mobo is an Epox 4G4A (not the + version, due to a shipping cock-up at a UK retailer I won't care to mention), and I'm running XP Pro Retail.
Can someone please help me!

Hmm!
The default drivers for XP should be fine for getting that to go,
if its not working try changing PCI slots, and see if it works there, if it doesnt, could be a bad nic?
