GF 2 + VIA KT133 = AGP 2x?!?!

I have a Biostar M7VKB Ver-2 in my server and a GeForce 2 MX200 in there as well, both board and card support AGP 4x yet it will only run in AGP 2x. Are there any jumpers or anything to fix this, it has a VIA KT133 chipset, and I know this is a problem for many people but none know how to fix it, do you?

Thanks

RE

Nope, the card and board is 4x. I have the original packaging, it's a Powercolor by the way. It has to do with the VIA chipset, but all the people with the same problem don't know how to fix it.

My Gigabyte GeForce2 MX and Gigabyte KT133 were both 4x AGP and were both set at 4x AGP. It could be because of your card/board or it could be because of your card's BIOS or your board's BIOS ... or it could be something else ... I've never heard of a problem with GeForce2s and KT133s not being able to use 4x AGP and most of my friends have exactly that setup ...

back in the days when i had Via, I had to check the box "AGP in Turbo mode" or something in the 4-1 drivers for the 4x to work. I don't know if this option still exist.

c'mon, with a GF2MX and KT133, whether it's running at 2x or 4x is the least of your problems
