K, I know that I can't do this and I won't do this, but I've seen some phuct up scores on GamersHQ.madonion.com for the GeForce2 MX/MX400 where they claim to have core and memory clocks up to and including 400 MHz. Now I run in the low 3000s w/ anistropic filtering in both DX and OpenGL and w/ -24 texture levels in NVMax LE on my Gigabyte GeForce2 MX. Is it possible to get the card up that high ? And, if so, are they using watercooled RAMSinks and dozens of fans and an air conditioner on the side of their case to pull this shit off ? (I can only get my GF2 MX up to 195c/185m)

I meant I run in the low 3000s on the 3DMark2001 SE benchmark.

Personally, I've got mine running at 220/360, but if I even go 5Mhz over that, my system freezes, even though the card isn't particularly hot. So I'm not quite sure how they do, or if they're even telling the truth :-)

I run at just under 3000 3DMarks, but I think that's the fault of my crappy no-name RAM.

In any case, overclocking your GF2MX will be futile in another 6 months (GTA3 is acceptable at 800x600) because you will really be needing DDR RAM on your graphics card to satisfy newer games. The prices for GF3s should keep falling while they make way for GF4s and eventually GF5s, so I suggest getting a cheap GF3 on Ebay, would do you loads of good :-)
