GeForce 2 GTS

I have my GeForce 2 GTS running at 220/270. (Windows 98SE) Lately, once in a while when playing UT or some game like that, my refresh rate switches to what looks like about 60. When I exit the game, the refresh rate is still at about 60. However, in the adapter part of my display settings, it says optimal. I can change it to 75 but the refresh rate still looks at 60. However, sometimes the adapter tab doesn't even show the refresh rate options at all. That part is completely missing.

Does that sound like a broken vid card? A driver problem? I'm running version 22.80.

Oh yeah, sometimes if I change the core speed to 218 it fixes the refresh rate for a while. That's why I'm thinking vid card. But sometimes even changing the core speed doesn't fix it. If I reboot, ususally it fixes until I go back into a game. But, even stranger, the refresh rate doesn't always change. Sometimes I can play UT for hours with no adverse effects.

Any ideas are much appreciated.
