Where can i get the latest firmware for a Zyxel Prestige 941 cable modem?
I currently have V2.79r1 and i'm looking for V2.80 (i think this is the last).I searched everyewhere in the net and found nothing.
If anyone can help PLEASE DO SO !

PS: and maybe u can give me some instructions how i can install/flash the new firmware after i found it

but within that PDF is a homepage mentioned ... that homepage is the one of your manuf. ... this homepage has to have the latest files ...
if not that are simply non ... who else should have a BIOS/firmware then ? despite the problem to find someone having exactly that modem ...
an email may clear up the situation if there is an upgrade or not

Trust me i'm not a noob.I checked every god damn sites on the net that mention this Modem and didn't found any firmware.
I found on one page but it requieres a password to download the firmware .I talked to them and they said i have to send them the modem to do the upgrade

is there some real reason to upgrade ?
I mean why do you want some at any cost ...
maybe the modem has some EEPROM which needs a EEPROM burner to upgrade ... thats why you need to send in the modem ...
there seems to be a reason why no ugrade is public ...
1. it can't be upgraded (EEPROM - you can download BIOS but not just easy flashing)
2. there is nothing new
3. the risk of loosing the modem is just too high

I do not want to say u are noob ... but whats the reason you want it that much
