UPDATE !!!
since I am at a Point where its running so damn slow ~2-3FPS ... it has shown that the crackles are still there ... the game engine seem to have some serious stack error ...
1. the the area running slow is like that 1 room ... there ain't really a reason why it runs slow ... and its runs slow with max or with lowest quality ...
during play .. and especially during slow scenes .. it seems something is stacking in cache that prevents game from functioning perfect including sound ...

the only way to fix is a reboot

If you want you can still download the file maybe it will fix some other issues

ah and btw the "stack error" also sucks FPS ... so when you feel that game runs slow just reboot for some extra FPS

It really destroyed the game ... the sound is just bad ...
games like Half-Life have better sound then FarCry ... in my eyes the EAX option is just for good looking

the most obvious problem I got with my Audigy 2
after playing some time the sounds starts to crackle ... just some background noise the really kills any fun you may have ...

as I experienced ...a reboot will fix this for some minutes ... but rebooting all time ain't really a choice huh ? :hmm:

so I took a quick look into 1.2 patch ... and copied out on file which seems to solve the problem ... while letting the rest work normally ...

Well, the 1.2 patch generally seems to suck. That's why UBI has taken it offline until a new Patch is ready.
