Euro 2004

Yes, finally it has begun the Euro 2004 Championship in Soccer.

And yesterday we had the first suprise, Greece beated portugal with 2:1.

Today it will be interesting France against england. My vote is for france.

But the best game ever will come on tuesday, netherlands against germany.

There is an old proverb:

The ball is round, the game takes 90 minutes and finally the german have won !!!

Ole´

Nationalistic Dutchman as I am, and even playing soccer myself, I of course hope that the Dutch team will beat those German bockwursts. Tongue

This year, the German team is remarkably bad and the Dutch have a reasonable good team (although last practice matches were dreadful), so I think the chance to beat the Germans is a fair one.

However, Germans always play well at tournaments and besides all the previous arguments, Holland vs. Germany always has been a special match and so no reasonable arguments are really valid for this game.

Hup Holland Hup!

In States we have to pay $179 for pleasure of watching Euro 2004.
I have never seen crap like this done to us, Canada gets it for free.
Fox TV got ready and sold the rights to Setanta, or may be never bit on it for US!
We are all screwed here!

Gotta say I was dissapointed with the Portugal v Greece match. Not the high quality standard I expected. I felt sorry for Portugal too but if you come unprepared then thats the consequences.

Btw... ENGLAND, ENGLAND, ENGLAND
