About the 40.72 drivers....

I recently installed the latest nvidia 40.72 drivers and my 3dmark score went down by about 1000 points! I was just wondering if any1 knows what are the best drivers for a geforce 2 mx PCI 32mb card? I've heard that the older drivers(30.82) and earlier are better. So if some1 could tell me a specific driver that would be great! O and I might add this: celeron 500 mhz, 512 MB SDRAM @ 100 mhz, geforce 2 mx PCI 32 mb. And Ima play Morrowind and Counter-Strike in OpenGL.

Im testing it using 3dmark2000 1.1, btw Will 3dmark 2001 work on ma comp- with the above specs?

My GeForce2 MX performed best with the 29.80s, 29.42s, 28.90s, 27.70s, and 27.00s ... I was running mid-3000s on 3DMark2001 with pretty much all of them ...

the geforce 2 series gives the best speed with the 6x series det 3 drivers. As long as your not Using a Geforce 2 Ti they should work on all geforce 2 series. the newer drivers are simply not being optimized anymore for sutch old cards.
