Nope, all AthlonXP's need a 133mhz FSB, and only the kt133a and above can do that.

http://www.soltek.de/English/faq/CPU%20list/AMD.htm --> check out this comp list, as far as I can see, your mobo supports an AMD Athlon 1,4Ghz, but none of the XP processors. Too bad for you.

Well the release Bios didn't support XP's obviously. But get a updated bios for ur board if it doesn't work with current one.

All in all, it will work, no doubt.

Enjoy

OMG i m saved i have 256 MB PC133 SD ram.

The tommy guy from Soltek has given me further detailed instructions below is the quote from his both of his e-mails:-

First mail:-

"Dead Sir

If you want to support the maximum processor. Can you please you
refer to as below information.
1 SL-75kv2-x belongs to VIA kt133 chipset. So it only supports
100 Mhz FSB speed of AMD Athlon TB or Duron processor.
So includes the AMD Athlon XP or TB of 133Mhz FSB speed
processor.your motherboard can`t support it.
2 Up to now,the maximum processor could up to 1.4G(100*14) of
TB and 1.3G (100*13) of Duron (include MORGAN) processor.
3 Otherwise, you only need to set the SW1 on 100Mhz.and the bios will
automatic detected. But you need to check the motherboard
has the latest BIOS version (Q10).

OK ,I know he means "Dear sir" but thats quite a mispell Tonguearanoid: .

Second Mail:-

Dear Sir

Continued to last time problem.
Please you careful check as below setting again.
1 Update bios to Q10.
2 Make sure the jumper setting.
SW1 OFF,ON,OFF,OFF,ON (100 Mhz FSB)
SW2 OFF.OFF,OFF,OFF (default)
Besides,he bios will automatic detected.

(BTW he has spelled "Dear" correctly this time.)
