I remember either this week or last there was a post about a Doom 3 leak which was FAKE. There was no recent beta leak at all it was all fake, no idea which news reporter reported it but it was all a big joke! Any chance this can be stopped in the future and keep to the REAL news.

its not a rumor its FAKE! there was only a alpha release which was last year. There has been no leak!!! Its not just some kid of the street saying this i know BECAUSE if there was it would be all over the net and alsorts of stuff would be popping up.

But yeah hats off to the 'special' person who started the rumours off! Its sure going to make Doom 3 even more popular.

BTW there is NEVER any proof if it hasnt been released. IF it has been released there is plenty of proof but atm there is non

*sigh* well i knew that when the news broke so no point in reading the news when i know whats real and whats not.

Isn't the very definition of "rumor" something that can or can not be true? If so something thats fake can be a rumor.

but there were facts when the rumour came out hence why did warp2search have to jump onto the bandwagon when it was fake?

Because he said and stressed it was a rumor and then said it wasn't actually true and explained it was a repack?

but why did this type of thing appear on warp? Also what is even dodgy is how the news was copied and pasted!
