Does anyone have any news on performance in this driver set? If not then ill do a quick FPS comparison keeping the same settings in Star Trek Elite Force II!

Im sorry to report but after conducting some tests... I can't see any significant improvement in these drivers... HOWEVER, I expect these drivers have been optimized more for FX users, not old Geforce 4 Ti users such as myself.

Test:

Star Trek Elite Force II
1600x1200
32-bit colour
All settings bar shadows manually set to MAX.

"44.67" = 62.5fps

"45.20" = 62.5fps

lol.. like i said.. no diff. for me!

EDIT: Yeh be4 u say it im silly!! Ok, so i MIGHT have left Monitor Sync on for those FPS's so... they ARE different.. but now that I have upgraded I can't be bothered to go back and forth... So there IS a diff!

This set of drivers is very slow. Maybe they indeed went for image quality, but it is not noticable. Hey, the PERFORMACNE is what are we looking for!! Smile

yes performance is all the same with latest dets except the 45.20 but you should switch to 44.90 ist 99.9999999999% stable and does not have "artifacts"
