cpu cooling?

I want to buy the best cpu cooling fan/heatsink they make. But I am not sure which one to get. I don't want the water cooling, because it looks like a pain in the ass to install and I barely have time as it is. I am not going to overclock my system. I just want the best there is and quick to install, something you just slap in for my overheated p4. I ordered a TT subzero g4 but I'm hearing bad things about it and thinking of canceling my order Any suggestions????

i use SLK800, my bro has an SLK900U (bolt version)

both are very good w/ Artic Silver 3 and YS Tech 92mm 4 pin 63.4 cfm 39.5 dBa, dont know what YS Tech model i have on mine

my old Volcano 6 CU was messed up and my temps went 51 idle 53 full load, went down to 41 idle 45 full load (T-Birds tend to be hot)

Prometeia MachII Smile

That is if you have money to spend. Smile
I don't know about it being quite but it certainly is one of the best CPU coolers available on the end-user market.

The Thermalright SLK900-U is the best heatsink. I have it myself, it rocks.
Only thing is it takes a while to install. But combine it with a silent 92mm
fan and you'll have performance with low noise. Or be like me with
the sound of a F16, and put on the Vantec Tornado 92mm with
a noise CFM of 56dba!! Smile

Laterz man
