Compatibility between Ti4200 and Gigabyte 7IXE4 motherboard

Can somebody tell me if a Winfast Ti4200 will run without issues in the
Irongate-based 7IXE4 motherboard from Gigabyte?

It is supposed to support at least Agp2x, but it crash in 5 minutes when i enable agp2x mode, so i use the agp1x mode -with my geforce2 mx 32 mb-

The official web page from winfast tell me that the card support agp2x/4x, or the agp 2.0 standard, while my motherboard is an agp 1.0 compliant.

I'm confused because the page says that agp 2.0 is required, but simultaneously the page says that the card can be used on a pentium 2 system, - while the pentium 2 motherboards only have agp 1.0 like mine-

If you can help me, do it please...

Should do,

I was using the same MBD with a Leadtek Ti4400, bios was set to 2x AGP but the driver would only do 1x. Eventually i got it working using Rivatuner to force the driver into 2x mode. Worked fine after that even with the AGP port at 75mhz. Download rivatuner and check that it is actually in 2x mode. Once i sorted that little quirk out it was rock solid.
