I just get "This page is not available. We're sorry, but this page is currently unavailable for viewing." when I visit that link.

How are you doing the driver install? I find it better if you unzip them and do a manual upgrade rather than the setup installer.

Hurray CAT is installed

Hurray CAT is finally installed. Not the official one, but the ref one. posted here yesterday.

This is not the first time this has happened, the offcial drivers just refuse to install. i m forced to use reference ones(not that i hav problem with that so far)l; Does anybody know the reason ? Sad.

Secondly "geocities"SuckA**. Does anybody knows a good free hosting site which is fast and reliable for posting my beloved, beautiful screenshots.
(BTWI have more than 1000 screenshots of MAXPAYNE in every angle imaginable. So if anybody is stuck just ask.)

Now hope this link works.

I'm not sure, but do you have plain 98, or 98SE, because the differences between the 2 are pretty big and you might be getting into some trouble there. Also UPDATE everything!!Believe it or not the latest updates(or lack there of) of IE 5.5 can have an effect.

98SE is the only REAL way to run IMHO
but updating is a must, not just on the WINUPDATE site, go to CNET.com and get into CatchUp services. you may find alot more that can be updated.

Good Luck

No i m using comp for the past 3 years. i hav never seen 98. Also there was a clean 98Se Installation.

Yes sudden, i think i should update my IE 5 and other updates but i always fear , if i go on Update frenzy it will slow my computer.

Anyway, I will atleast update my IE.

Peace, KYRO.

Kyro, mon, i wouldn't suggest something that would goof you up, Every time ive done these kinds of updates i find BETTER performance and STABILITY are the results. Never heard of anyone that got a bogged down comp from updates !!

Peace, Sudden

After message pops up, continue with install and then when it asks to restart computer say click "restart later". Then right click on desktop to bring up properties, advanced, adapter, change adapter and manually direct to c:\ati\support\ - your new driver file - and click ok to every thing and this time restart computer when asked. Your new driver should now be installed. Check driver version to confirm (use 3DMark 2000 info).
