Great news for existing customers...

Our elite services with speeds of either 2Mb or 4Mb will both be increased, to up to 10Mb.
The broadband elite- 2Mb service will also benefit from an increase in upstream speed to up to 384k.

The 10Mb service will cost only £35. Customers on the current 4Mb service will benefit from the new £35 price from October.

Wow..

10Mbit line for £35 quid.. i might just upgrade, altho the 512k - 2mb upgrade will be fine for me Smile

Nice to see Blueyonder and Ntl pushing the boundries, which can only mean cheaper faster broadband for everyone.. eventually.

I'm on Blueyonder 1Mb which is £25 at the moment, bit pricey, when it happens I think I'll downgrade from 4Mb to 2Mb which is more than enough, especially as the upload speed will be doubled as well.

But lets face it where are you actually going to be able to download anything at anywhere near 10Mb. Maybe a little reduced latency for online games is about the only advantage.

And i'll hold my breath for how well this actually works, Blueyonders new Teleport TV is a bit of a farce.
