that´s right , u can use a good watercooler with every CPU and u can o/c the CPU and it´s cooled down anyway and it´s not noise *smile*

the 2500 barton runs at 166 MHz FSB you can just switch to 200 MHz voila 3200 (2200MHz)
btw the values for volcano are a bit .. to high ...

I had a volcano 7+ .. yes its not the quitest but it ran slowest @ 3000 rpm which was quite high and he did make some noice but not at 1400rpm ... and I know its a tri blade fan which is even more quite

ok guys thanks for the info, bottom line is I can O/C a "locked" 2.5 Barton to 3.2 by upping the FSB and leaving the multiplier at default. I need good branded memory, and a decent HSF, ........sounds good to me!

some moons ago, i wanted to upgrade my brothers PC with ram and i asked here in W2S and i can´t remember who, but they gave me a link with Ram´s they tested....it was unbelievable....ALL (OCZ too) had so MANY Mem Errors in standart MEMTEST only Corsair got NO ONE !!!

only @ O/C Corsair got some too
