Hi, can someone give me some suggestions on good free backup software which contains a scheduler and compression formats other zip.

i know a programm, called "backupmypc" but don´t ask me for the developers.

If I am not mistaken, Drive Image 2002 is wonderful at compressing. You can even back up your hard drive to CD's. I don't know if it has a scheduler but its pretty quick at backing up and if you save to a secondary hard drive, you don't even have to exit windows to backup. Its fabulous. I purchased the product and I am very happy with it. PowerQuest has worked hard to come up with Quality products, and I rate this a 9 out of 10.....

10/10 it's for Norton Ghost only, much more faster & stable than PowerQuest stuff.
