Hi everyone,

I have just upgraded to windows XP home edition and have installed all the latest drivers for my hardware including the latest drivers for the ATI. In all my games bar a few the frame rate stays in the 20-30 however the game plays like it is in slow motion. I can't think of an other way to describe it. I can replicate it in Dungeon Siege which works properly most of the time, where it reports the frame rate at 20-30. However when it slows down the framerate increases up by about ten!. So it isn't the games just being slow. It doesn't seem just to affect windows games some of my dos games have also been affected by the same problem. I have emailed ATI but i have emailed ATI support before and i'm not hopeful for a response.

System Specs:

800mhz Duron
512mb of SDRAM ram
(i am aware of the ram issue with radeons under xp and have preformed the fix recommended by ati with no avail)
ATI Radeon 7500 64mb DDR
Hercules Game Muse XL Soundcard
Intel Anypoint wireless Adapter

Any ideas would be helpful.
