have an ATI Radon agp 32 megs g/card (latest drivers and sofware)

my prob is when i try to load winxp to a formatted 40gb hd, it goes through the motions first, then when it goes to restart nothing happens....?
it then hangs ?
but

when i take out my g/card and put in a different g/card with only 8 megs it loads with no probs any ideas guys plz.. ty in advance

I have a Radeon 8500 (64megs) with bios 7006 and have the same problem. I have tried all the latest drivers from Ati and Via and even flashed the Bios on my Dfi AD73 Pro.

If anyone has any info please let us know.

System:

Dfi AD73 Pro (no raid)
Athlon 1700+ (o/c to 2100+)
256 megs 2100 ddr (micron)
WD 30gig 7200rpm HD
Creative 52x Infra
On-board sound

Seems like the only way to solve it is to run @ 1x agp. I tried all sorts of different setting in the bios and in Windows and this is the only one that works. Hope it works for u 2!
