i have the alpha this game kicks ass.

but there is allot of more work to be done.

i download it...
and it is not Unreal... it is a Technology test demo

i have radeon 64 ddr
and i cannot run this
i change maps in ini and nothing
blank screen + reset

in log ive smth like this

I just downloaded the unreal2 alpha. I can't get it working. I tried to run unreal.exe and a little boxed popped up(look like it was loading) and then blinked black and exit. Does anyone know how to fix this. Thank you!

I had a ftp link, but it was too slow and now it doesnt work lol

you'll have to go to the IRC to get the file, i did, it took me sometime. (3-5 hours) hahah

Anybody want to post the filename so people can at least search for it? :smile:

type 'quit' in the console to exit without alt-tab

Open the unreal.ini file you find there a row looks like this: LocalMap=entry.un2
Now you go to the maps folder in the unreal folder and you can change the word entry in everything you find in the map folder. close and save the ini and play

how do you add, maps to the unreal.ini???

there're no ftp or http with the files, either they're too slow or broken links.

where can i download it?

I have unreal2 and will trade it for something.
