3dMark03 problem

I recently downloaded the new 3dmark03, installed it and when i went to run the benchmark everything is fine till it completely loads the first benchmark and the program just crashes and goes back to the desktop...I don't think it could be my hardware...Anyone have any advice or having the same problem I am?

not if he can install it and run it. if the download is corrupt the installer wont run. its doing CRC checks before execution.

Good point El_Coyote, It probably would not install if download is corrupt.

Does 3Dmark03 require DX9 ?

sorry to tell you this mate but it is your hardware, your "graphics card" to be precise. If you check the 3d mark boards you will see many others with your card are experiencing the same problem.

Since your card is only able to run the 1st game test and not even the demo, you're better off sticking to the 2001se edition of 3dmark.

If I remember well, I had the same problem and fixed it by changing some of my ZoneAlarm settings. Weird & lame isn't it? So the source of your problem may be some of your programs running in the background.
