With 3DFX being bought by nVidia it seems unlikly that they will return to the video card market. nVidia would be competing with themselves! But who knows, 3DFX branded 'gamers' RAM could be a winner.

I believe that newegg has had that 3DFX section there for a very long time. I have used their site for years, and I remember it being there when I was first shopping aound for RAM. It has always been empty.

3dfx are dead, get over it.

& "xs_damage", 3dfx were not bought by NVIDIA. NVIDIA were sold certain 3dfx assets, e.g. names, patents, etc. 3dfx themselves went on after the sale, went bankrupt & into liquidation. It's a common misconception that NVIDIA bought 3dfx though.

One time I burned my hand on a voodoo 3 3500

I was under the impresion that nvidia also bought the the rights to the "3DFX" name. There is no way 3dfx is making a comeback though, which is very sad. Cry
