xpy is a small tool which disables the default threats of a windows xp installation. besides the classic antispy features, xpy closes recent security holes like the remote procure call (rpc) service and the distributed component object model (dcom).

This would be a fantastic little utility if I could make more sense of the options!

For example: you get lots of "disable such and such" - if it's ticked then is the option itself disabled or the function it disables?

I've gone through twice setting the options I wanted turning off, only for it to be reversed and everything I want on is disabled and everything I want off is on!

There is no readme file which could point this out to idiots too  ;)
