Xbox 360 Price Leaked Claim

According to unconfirmed leaks from employees of the ubiquitous American retail giant Wal-Mart, the Xbox 360 is to go to retail at a price of $299.99 which is around what has been expected.

I guess that makes sense...actually it's a little lower than I figured, even. Isn't that what the last set of consoles started at, too?
Makes me wonder if that'll include everything you want/need or just the system, power cables and a single controller. I can't see that including the headset, DVD remote, 2nd controller, or any games.
I miss the days of systems retailing with 2 controllers and a game!

Why would it come with games, remote and a headset?

That usually happens a while after release where they have "bundles".

ie sports bundle with a fifa game and a headset or something.

All adding the peripherals for free is doing is increasing their losses. If people want the stuff after then they can buy it for a decent profit :)
