Windows XP Pro x64 VLK Leaked

It looks like the VLK version of Windows XP Pro x64 leaked a few days ago on Bittorrent sites and Usenet. Originally, the VLK version was leaked without any CD keys. But, as of today, CD keys were leaked onto the Internet. With these CD keys, the activation is bypassed (also known as the "corporate" version).
The infamous "Corpfiles" has also been released. The files in "Corpfiles" converts OEM versions of Win XP x64 to corporate version.

"With these CD keys, the activation is bypassed"? What have you been smoking. It's the version of Windows that let you bypass the activation not the "CD-Key". |

Wrong FDisk...The key determins whether it's activated or not There is NO difference between XP Pro and XP "Corp" (I hate how people call it "Corp")...the key is what seperates them. |

Except that only a VLK version takes VLK keys. A retail or OEM copy of any version of Windows will not accept VLK keys so you're wrong - it is not just the key that seperates them. However, x64 versions of the legendary corpfiles seem to be going around at the moment. It contains only a few changed files (around 12MB worth) that you put onto the CD in place of the original files resulting in a VLK version. |

You could not be more wrong. I'm an MCSE and mess around with this stuff alot. So I know what I'm talking about. |

Wow...and I'm and MSCIEOSPDFIEKKKD and I know that you don't know what YOU are talking about...VLK (Corp) is different...and the CDKey is part of the equation. |

Not sure if this is just based on the version you have or what...because my old "Corporate" Windows XP would only accept VLK's, but my off the shelf copy of professional will accept normal pro keys AND VLK's created with the old-school XP Keygen. I had the original gold version of XP Pro Corporate that came out about 2 months prior to the release copy. Maybe it varies on the version? |

What the hell has having an MCSE got to do with the fact you're wrong in saying that any XP can accept a VLK? Try it yourself. Get an OEM or Retail XP CD and put in a VLK key and it will tell you it's invalid. If you claim I'm wrong, you are lying. It's a fact, like it or not. I don't care about your MCSE, you're still wrong and you can see for yourself. Besides, how do you know I don't have an MSCE too? Stupid comment. |

Oh, I replied to the wrong one Anyway, yes, the CD key is part of the equation but an OEM/Retail OS will not accept a VLK so the CD itself does matter also. |

When XP came out in October 2001, the CD media was version 2001 (note that this is not the same number as the RTM build #- I'm talking about something different). Sometime in 2002, the media version changed to 2002. This is the difference I believe in why you can put VLK keys into retail XP copies now. If you have one of the original retail, OEM or VLK versions of the 2001 media, then only VLK media would accept VLK licenses. Retail and OEM copies of the 2001 media could use either retail or OEM keys if you changed the setupp.ini file to specify OEM or retail. So long story short, the original 2001 release media of XP had to be a VLK version to accept VLK keys. The 2002 version of the media eliminated this. |

Umm, dude, I was the one that said that it's in the Windows copy itself and not in the CD-Key in the first place. What the hell is wrong with you. Has the world have been that cruel to you? :| |

Could it be illegal just to mention that this copy of XP whatever key it takes, is now available to download via Bit Torrent? New Factory, some ppl may thank you for the heads up, but I bet MS won't. Might be a good idea to remove this post anyway |

Oh noes! You revealed a secret. This information is already in the first line of the article. Everything leaks now days. You know If I would see an article about how some product did NOT leak, then I would be surprised. This whole thing is not news. It's just a lack of fantasy to write some interesting news. |
