A Japanese site has discovered a method to break Microsoft?s Windows Media DRM 10 on WMV files (which is Windows Media Video, if you haven?t been paying attention). No word on whether the two apps that aim to do it (DrmDbg and DRM2WMV) can be retooled for decrypting DRM?d audio files (WMA).

#59271 Posted on: 02/01/2005 08:04 PM you still need the a valid licence to turn the WMV to into a decrypted format file. i've been decrypting my WMA files for a while now using a easy method i worked out. dont need no fancy tools to do it either.
