What if STEAM was a Car dearlership???

car = licens

On the 19th you find the time to make it back to the dealership and they have your key. You shot it and opens the dorr and you start your car and drive off. You enjoy your new car very much and drive it allot over the next few days.

You walk out the house on the 23rd and find that your car is missing. You go to run back in your house to call the cops but you notice a not onyour door. The note reads, "your car has been repoed, and your last two cars have also been repoed".

You get pissed as hell and drive down the the dealership with your titles in hand, but they give you the finger and say well, we checked our security camera and say you trying to steal your owne car!!! (LOL, you can laugh here.) They pull out the fine print on the contract and show you how if you ever try and steal form them your car and all past cars will cease to become your property and we will be keeping all your money too. They all laugh and kick you out.

This is exactly what Steam has done to me!!! I purchase my game on the 15th, it was due on the 17th, the fedex guy delivered it on the 18th, and I entered my cdkey, which is not the same as the license, on the 19th. I was pissed about the fedex guy not coming on the 17th so i ûûûûûed to a friend about it on IM. He sent me a link to a web page with a key. (just like the key in my story I owned the license/car and tried a key that wsa just laying there) I tried it and it came back stating that the key was in use. (just like the key not opening the car door) I thought nothing of it and walked off. I got the game on the 18th, but did not have time to install it. I got the game with the cdKey, not the licens, on the 19th and i installed it and drove away.. hehe.. I played form the 19th threw the 23rd. I went to jump in my game (car) and found it deactivated (repoed). Not just that the licenses(cars) of other games were also gone.. e.g. Half-Life 1, and counter strike retail. Now Steam is callimg me a thief and booting me out the door with my receipts in hand. I sent emails with pictures of the game and invoices but it is no good. They are, in my case acting as criminals. Big companies are worse than criminals because they get lawyers to make what they do legal.

Now look, if a car dealership did this what would you do???

Facts are, i purchased my game on the 15th with proof, I did try a key laying there on the 17th and I did get my key on the 19th an used it threw the 23rd. I at no point violated my license. I owned it on the 15th and it is not yours to take back!!!

I wrote the above post in an effort to get my money back from steam or my account re-instated and I got the following reply:

BL1NXx: Super Moderator P

"Thread closed partly because as a thread starter you're now banned, and partly because the thread had no real basis to begin with"

I need help!!! I have documentation that I owned the game prior to the time in shich they state that I used any key. All I get is a ban from the steam forums and nasty email calling me a thief and that i should go buy another copy of the game if i want to play it.. Any how, here is a link to my post. I guess they put a ban on my account for writing it, but it is exactly my story!
