Warning: New HLDM/CS Hack! Yuck!

Just got word from Matt of a new cheat for HLDM/CS. Here's what he's saying!

Not really, hardware related.. but since most of us are gamers, thought I'd send this out anyway. There appears to be a new hack for HL, and all the HL mods, that makes the hitbox, a lot larger. This means, the cheater, can shoot you a few inches off and still hit you!

Update Got a reply to this Warning: New HLDM/CS Hack! situation from n1neb4 and here's his email is he right. post your comments Here!

Plz get your facts straight before going and posting useless information like this? It's not a hack, it is infact a netcode tweak. What it does is modify the prediction a bit, so instead of seeing a clients "supposed" position on the map, it shows their actual position. With this, a good player can use this and have an advantage SLIGHTLY, but not much. You still have to have the aim. This is not a hack in any way shape or means, so plz in the future don't just post something like that unless you know for sure what it is. Just because some newbie (not referring to you) has no clue what he is talking about doesn't mean it is neccessary to spread rumors like this, that are going to get the whole community hyped up about nothing. Newbies are what ruin cs.
