Warcraft 3...is blizzard spying on us?

When Warcraft 3 was updated to 1.04c blizzard said that only few updates were included. Below are guests comments of this site, these do not necessarily reflect the opinion of warp2search.

- Dates now use the system date format. - Fixed some issues related to IME text input. - Fixed some minor text wrapping issues that were occurring with Asian languages. - Fixed an issue that allowed players to keep Castles and Keeps alive for abnormal lengths of time while those buildings were under attack. This is strictly server side updates.....nothing that would explain war3's exe to be bigger...and after few days 1,05 is out....and the day after 25000 cdkeys suspended or banned.and how blizzard knows that these people ARE cheating without watching replays..(i even sended like 6 replays where clicking on my army was visible but i got my key suspended)the only logical explanation to this is that blizzard has some kind of spyware thing that sended info about what progs u were running alongside war3 (i dont have proof with any kind of progs coz 1,04c was out only for 2 days).... What does everyone think?

I think if you are cheating online, you deserve to be banned.

yeah i totally agree.. anyone who cheats needs to be kicked off.. and its never been a secret that blizzard bans cheaters, so anyone who does cheat runs that risk...

blizzard is not in the business of looking into your files and spying on you.. they are in the business of making games fun.. and hell who can complain that we get to play on battle.net for FREE...

Blizzard has not been proactive on the cheating front with very little currently done about the situation but if this patch is an effort to fix that and take an active stance against cheaters I am all for it. However a few balance issues being corrected would have been nice as well.

and btw

why the size of files increased ....

they reworked the CD-Check I am using a burned version of my original CD because if can "do what I want with it"
and since the patch it is not always taking the copy I have to click retry until it takes it
thats really funny cd check workin sometime and sometime not ... LOL
