I love how all the companies that wouldnt even be around if nvidia hadnt come along, have been turning their backs on them to make cards for ati. As for visiontek, with their rep, im sure no one will be buy their shitty cards

they are pissed at Nvidia because Nvidia made BFG Technologies a release sponsor, and BFG Tech is mostly made up of Ex-Visiontek employees lol

...it's a hell of a great way to sell cards! I'm seriously considering picking up an Xtasy 9500 Pro now just 'cause of that!

ANY company that has that kind of style/humor/feel for the community has got something on the ball in my book and is worth supporting. (Plus they make some damn fine viddy cards! :) )

I totally agree with you 100% . how the hell is it nvidia's fault that visiontek made poor business decisions etc. the fact of the matter is visiontek owes nvidia millions of dollars. f*ck you visiontek!!!! honor your lifetime warranty and stfu. instead of beating around the bush.

and no i'm not a nvidia fanboy :) i have ati 7200 and a ti4200 and like them both.

No customer should ever have to be subject to that kind of trash when they visit a site or place of business. It shows a lack of focus and discipline, most serious though, a lack of good judgement. I thought the previous flash anim was in poor taste too. It portrayed the company as immature, recklessly fickle, and unhesitant to get into bed with any chip manufacturer that quotes the best price. To me, that translates to ZERO product commitment.

Sadly, I used to praise and highly recommend this company. Not anymore.

I especially like the last screen you are left with:

XTASY
Powered by ATI
BLOWS

I think VisionTek is kaput and its site was hijacked some time ago (at least 6-8 weeks). Not sure if ATI had anything to do with the hijack, but it appears there's noone home at VisionTek.
