Valve's Top 10 Secret Files

Posted by: Newsfactory on: 10/10/2003 09:31 PM [ Print | 14 comment(s) ] · 2752 views

While much has been made about the leak and its ramifications and consequences, few people have commented on the OTHER incredible stuff that was found on Valve's network. And it's up to a serious, responsible journalist like myself -- with a history in this humor column of deep investigative journalism -- to get to the bottom of this and bring this information to the public. So, forget what you've heard about the stolen Half-Life 2 source code. Take a look at THESE at PlanetFargo:

Hey! You guys!! Stop posting those garbage news at our favourite site! WE ARE LOOSING FOLLOWERS!!!
Seriously now, we don't need those kind of news posts, all they are doing is giving credit to those "hackers"...

Just remember, if it was Microsoft, people would be heralding them as the greatest hackers of all time.

Can't agree with me? If someone did this to Microsoft and stole the code underlying Microsoft's networking portions or certain things related to IE that Microsoft didn't want people to know, people would jump up and down as this person being the greatest hacker in the world.

Please don't make such posts anymore. Half-Life 2 is going to be a great game. The guys at Valve are at trouble now, even though they were planning anyway not to release HL2 before 2004. Please don't make things worse.
