Half Life 2 is going to be the impetus that sells millions of dollars worth of hardware this buying season. Valve makes no issue of telling you that ATI's video card is the one to have in your box. And yes, there is a killer benchmark...
The following is a slide presentation that was the topic of conversation at yesterday's "Shader Day" presentation sponsored by ATI. Gabe Newell of Valve Software had a long and heartfelt talk about video cards and what was simply going to be the best hardware to run Half Life 2 on. The HL2 benchmark is scheduled for September 30th.
