Increase USB port sample rate to 250hz or 500hz
boost precision and improve mice accuracy.
Only for Windows XP SP2 - English version!
Support: Logitech MX series, Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer 3 and Razer Viper series.

I am not sure (correct me if i am wrong) but this does not work with wireless mice, when this started a few monts ago some guys concluded that the "polling" (?) rate of the wireless mice radio signal was limited to 125Hz so increasing the port rate over that had no effect and could be negative for the mouse. |

Also, as nobody's screen frequency is >125Hz, what's the point of this utility? Any change in precision etc is purely in the head of the user, ie, not real. It will just burn extra CPU cycles for processing that which can not be seen. |

Exactly. Where were you when I was arguing about this a few months ago? |

This could possibly only alter the windows sampling rate, not the USB controller H/W sampling rate; the USB hardware sampling rate is fixed by the hardware clock freq. IMO, this could do nothing more than by turning on "Enhance pointer precision" in the control panel/mouse of windows USB is not language literate on the hardware |
