AMD is now hosting the newly released 64-Bit version of UT2004. Both the client and dedicated server versions are available for download. If you have one of those super-fancy rigs definitely download this immediately!

So that brings the count of the big games up to 3 then, C.o.Riddick, Farcry, and now this. Although UT isn't the most demanding of games anyway. Hopefully things will pick up pace a little and we'll see the same for the more demanding games soon, i.e. Battlefield2, FEAR etc.

It's not demanding meaning it isn't graphically demanding. Since UT2004 is CPU dependent, this will yield larger gains than Far Cry or newer 64bit games.

Now all I need is a copy of Win 64-bit to run it. ;-)

True because if it's not so graphically intensive the balance shifts to CPU, which is great if your looking for obscenely high FPS, however even UT's Physics doesn't require much by todays CPU standards.
BF2 & Fear are amongst the first of the 1GB memory heavyweights (i.e. you need 1GB realistically), and if thats all you have then XP64's improved virtual/memory handling could make a noticable difference.
