Fileplanet have posted the first look at the new world of Tribes: Vengeance, in form of an awesome high-quality 640x480 resolution video. The movie highlights the "rag doll" physics you'll encounter in this extension to the Tribes universe.

without watching it (damn fileplanet dont like opera users) i'd assume that the ragdoll effect is similar to the one in UT2003, since tribes vengance is build on the same engine. |
without watching it (damn fileplanet dont like opera users) i'd assume that the ragdoll effect is similar to the one in UT2003, since tribes vengance is build on the same engine.
That's ridiculous.. Just because its the same engine doesn't mean they are bound by the UT2K3 physics.. If that were the case the engine would not be very expansive thus making it pretty lame for future games.. But since its a Engine that's been around since the original Unreal & heavily modified I would say that this engine is extremely expansive... |

agreed. and let's not forget the original unreal was the bomb. the engine was a big part of it - i still load it up from scratch adding patches just to marvel at skaarj warriors tossing back those dreadlock things. he he nothing beats it as single player execution except perhaps original jedi knight or mech warrior 2 for submersive experience. |

I'd like to point your attention to the set of words: "I'd assume" so please read what i write the next time before you explode in a fit of rage, calling my rediculous. Since they are calling it excactly the same, i think i was in my right to assume what i did, its not like i'm not open to other oppinions you know... |
