Hmm, I wonder if 3DRealms plans on putting this in Duke Nukem Forever. Might give them another 12 months to add to the development time.

it brings up a point.

I had to fight for an hour to make the expansion to Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War run on my computer.
this however is not a problem with pirated games, which usually never fails to work.

if this continues, the publishers literally force people to go the way of pirating to play a game.
I was resonably lucky, theres loads and loads of people out there that still cant make the expansion work. securom terminates the process if theres something it doesnt like. which often happens to be nothing illegitimate

Yea, I've heard of that. I heard Alcohol, a ligitamate CD burning program, was was notorious for setting it off. Even happened to me once. I was mad pissed about that.
