The KillerNIC - Is It Worth It?

In the ongoing efforts to squeeze every possible performance improvement out of their computing rig, most folks focus almost exclusively on the two heavy hitters in their system when it comes to generating frames per second (FPS): CPU and video card. Is it possible that both consumers and hardware manufacturers have been overlooking an untapped area for improvement?

I can't believe they gave it a mild nod of approval. I guess some still do anything for free hardware.

I had to register here, just so I could reply to this comment! I am the president of the company that did this review. We were not given the card, we bought it.

It doesn't change the fact (if you are real) that the card sucks ass and is virtually worthless. I've seen some tests where performance is severely hampered (latency-wise). I'll stick with my integrated nvidia.
I love the concept, but it's just not economical or productive enough to be useful.
