| SparkleXP is an application designed to tweak Windows XP and improve its performance. It helps freeing up computer resources resulting in a faster and responsive computer.
This tool creates a second Hardware Profile and a correlative new User to get a lightweight desktop. You can choose to boot into your regular or SparkleXP onfiguration at startup. A wizard will guide you through the installation of SparkleXP whihc will allow you to manage some aspects of the new SparkleXP desktop: Internet connections, AntiVirus and Firewall solutions. At the next reboot you will find a new menu. Here you can select which System to load. Just login Windows with the user you have chosen in the previous menu and your new lightweigth desktop is ready to use! |
