SoundBlaster SBLive/Audigy ---> Audigy2: The Guide

Here's a SoundBlaster SBLive/Audigy ---> Audigy2 guide that was poted by Smiro at Futuremark!

This topic has been discussed for ages & ages and here it is! Info was taken from two sites with two different ways to make your SBLive or Audigy to use the applications and the new features - if hardware supports them, that Audigy2 can give.

To choose which guide to use, read the guides and FAQs and check the original Web Pages that have the Guides.

Guide#1 is only for SBLive Guide 2 is for SBLive & Audigy1

Sort info: Guide#1 is the way to go with hacked drivers, no updating. The drivers were hacked to so that job and as told, they work like a charm. Guide#2 explains how to hack the A2 drivers that Creative gives public. You can update and you can find great forum support at DriverHeaven.

Uhmmm, links for downloading the Audigy 2 Driver Pack are broken, or the maximum limit of users connected as been reached, I can't download the drivers... Any mirrors ? Looks promising.

I've got an Audigy 1 and i've been running the Audigy 2 drivers for two weeks now - without a single glitch. Everything is working far, far better - EAX is behaving itself (like it should) and i swear the sound quality has improved. No more EAX bugs destroying my gaming.. A big FU to creative for their lack of support!
