This release will update the drivers and application software of Sound Blaster Live! 5.1 to provide compatibility with Microsoft Windows 2000/ Windows XP.

This is a full driver installation and does not require any previous installation. This patch also contains AudioHQ and Surround Mixer. PlayCenter 2 and MiniDisc Center will also be patched if these applications are already installed on your system. This release is in English only.

Update: This is from Morbidangel.com The new SBLive drivers you posted about today aren't exactly new, at least the Windows drivers aren't. It may include newer versions of the Creative applications (I didn't bother checking since I don't have any of them installed!), but the drivers themselves are actually much older than the last release Creative North America released on their Windows XP page, the Revision 2 driver kit.
