It took a little wrangling since we didn?t have an appointment, but we managed to blag our way into the backroom where Sony had three genuine PlayStation 3 consoles on display.

Good to know that the controllers are only a "conceptual design." They're the one weakness of the PS3 thus far. If it ain't broke, don't fix it...stick to the current design. In all honesty I still think the Gamecube Wavebird controller is the most comfy controller ever, but playing a fighting game with that just won't cut it...and the trigger buttons are a little noisy. If Sony went that route, but had a "fighting" controller available, that would be cool with me. |

I agree, it is somewhat comforting that the controllers are just concept designs as they don't look comfortable at all. Trading comfort for aesthetic appeal is a dumb idea. Stick to what works. |

The rumor I heard before was the best idea, even if it is simple: stay with the dualshock but have it wireless.. Maybe its because of that lawsuit they had, where they didnt pay to use the rumble patent. |
