This is the first release of a simple software rasterizer that is compatible with Microsoft Direct 3D 9.0. Included in this package is this readme and the distribution CAB files for the x86 and x64 versions of the rasterizer
This software rasterizer is intended as a solution for applications that must have a software rasterization fallback on systems without hardware acceleration. This software rasterizer provides a reasonably fast and basic "fixed function" rasterizer. It does not provide more advanced Microsoft Direct 3D features ( such as pixel shaders, etc. ). This rasterizer is not intended as a solution for Games requiring a software rasterizer and has not been designed or optimized for use in Games
