I have an SiS645dx mobo (ASUS P4S533) with a 2.4ghz P4. When I installed this latest AGP driver, a new startup app "HTpatch.exe" appeared in my All Users/Run registry area. I assume this is some sort of "HyperThreading" (HT) patch needed for SiS chipsets, does anyone confirm this? If I am only running a single CPU, can I safely remove this ? It stays resident after bootup and I don't like wasting memory if its not needed. Thanks |

I'd like to know, too. SiS, unlike VIA, seems to be releasing good AGP patches. BUT... they have lots of TSR's and boot-time loaders. What's up with that? - Gurm |
