| The 80PLUS certification that most high-end power supply manufacturers are aiming to achieve is a rating system that actually comes in four steps. There's the standard 80PLUS for any power supply that's able to achieve at least an 80% efficiency rating. Those that consistently achieve higher could also fall into the categories of 80PLUS Bronze, 80PLUS Silver or 80PLUS Gold.
