Summing up this product is practically a no-brainer. Great features, great VHS/DVD playback, great options and Samsung's attention to detail and perfection makes this one of the "must-have" products of 2003. It pretty well handles every type of media you can throw at it and only takes up one measly space in your entertainment centre.

I happen to own one of these (bought in January; was manufactured 11/02). It is a very nice unit and well worth the price, but of course it could be better in a few minor areas. It has a great remote, especially when compared to Sony who just can't seem to ever design a remote with a human in mind LOL! I just wish this until supported SVCD, which supposedly the previous lower model (V2500) does, but I guess they had to take out that support in order to add the MemoryStick support (too cheap to increase the ROM space, Samsung? tsk). Anyway, an A-.
