Revolution's graphics subsystem: 2 sep cores - ATI AMR ?

As for specs, since you seem to be really privy on them, the Revolution will indeed support both 720p as well as 1080i. The GPU of the console packs quite a punch. It?s actually two cores linked together with ATi?s alternative on nVidia?s SLI.

Though no releasedate has probably been determined yet by Nintendo (current releasedate looks to be around March next year in Japan), this could mean that Revolution will be the first device to support this ATi technology. Even before they introduce it to the PC market.

Sounds like total BS. If that thing really sported 4 cpus and 2 gpus it would cost so much that only a minority of gamers would be able to afford it.

It's nothing but lies and wishful thinking and delusional ravings. Anyone who believes this nonsense should have their console/computer taken away from them. :D

You guys kill me. You call this all total bs and speculation, but the rumors of the ps3 sporting multiple cell processers is believed? I mean damn stop with the fanboy crap.

Sorry corrosive, the one who seems to be the fanboy here - if anyone - is you, since you bring up PS3 out of the blue when nobody else has done so.

Look... There's a lot of speculation and rumors flying around about all the consoles right now, most of them are undoubtedly BS. This one is so OBVIOUSLY so, I mean, COME ON, four G5 cores? That's patently rediculous for so many reasons, just the power supply would likely have to deliver 300W just for the processors, if not even more (current 1.5GHz chips is at ~90W each), and think of the cost... Rediculous!

It's a classic example of taking rumor X about console Y and salting all the already completely bogus specs a bit to make your preferred brand look even better, and then maybe adding some nebulous nonsense about "sources say" or "insider information" on top.

You didn't actually believe all that bunk about 4 G5s and 2 ATi GPUs and stuff, did you?

You want to hear revolution, think a graphics card with a desktop computer add-on!* So you don't have to install anything! plays right out of the box!

Now THAT would be a revolution :)
