With the demise of Sega as a console manufacturer, Nintendo stands alone as the industry's leading innovator of hardware design. From the curious gyro-bot (R.O.B.) and the akward PowerGlove to the funky, dual-screen goodness of the DS; Nintendo's reputation for springing inventive gadgets on unsuspecting (at times unenthusiastic) gamers is indisputable. Hence, it comes as no surprise that Mario's latest turn ? the controversial "Revolution" controller ? should at first glance appear, well, revolutionary. [ Link ]

As usual...W2S's few articles about the Revolution is something that basically tells people to ignore change. Before anyone (other then a few select media) hav had a chance to try out a demo with this setup they are already saying its pointless. EVERY site I have read from a credible gaming website that was able to demo the Revolution controller had nothing but high praises for it. Even people such as Yuji Naka, Peter Molyneux, EA Canada, Hideo Kojima, Square-Enix and even MS own Peter Moore have said it is a welcome change. So you have to use a small wired receiver in order for the controller to pick up the signal...BIG DEAL!!! People act like it is going to make a huge mess out of everything This site (and alot of its users) are so blantantly biased that it's not even funny. |
