Red Hat Linux Install Guide

linuxphr3@k of Next L3vel has written an install guide which will guide you through the process of obtaining, burning, and installing Red Hat Linux on your PC:

So what exactly is this Linux that everyone is talking about? In general terms, it?s an operating system written by Linus Torvalds, a former student at Helsinki University, Finland. Linux was released under open-source licence, and since it?s release in 1991, it has come in many different distributions.

Red hat is one of the most widely used distributions available today. The reason behind this, is that it?s available for free, and can be used as both a workstation, and just about any kind of server you wish. Ok, so how do you get it you ask? Look no further than the list below! I would recommend downloading these on broadband, as the CD images are quite large, around 667Mb each.

Don't bother, unless you have a Linux ONLY system.

Redhat doesn't let you read from your NTFS partition.
