So what exactly is this Linux that everyone is talking about? In general terms, it?s an operating system written by Linus Torvalds, a former student at Helsinki University, Finland. Linux was released under open-source licence, and since it?s release in 1991, it has come in many different distributions.

Look no further than the list below! I would recommend downloading these on broadband, as the CD images are quite large, around 667Mb each.

Don't bother, unless you have a Linux ONLY system. Redhat doesn't let you read from your NTFS partition. |

its not like its impossible to make it read ntfs either. |
