Many of you may have noticed the lack of updates on ReactorCritical, an enthusiast hardware website, that has been around since 1997. The site was established as a private 3D hardware related resource. Now it has been maintained by a group of companions, headed by Konstantin Martynenko, a graduate from the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute. Today the website is up for sale. Here are some of Konstantin's words:
It was really good to be a part of 3D graphics hardware online community, but it is time for us to go further. For a number of months already we have not been able to update the web-site properly since we all got eventually involved in different work and we cannot dedicate really a lot of time for Reactor Critical. We really regret, but it seems that we should retire from all of this.
Sad to see you leave folks. Take care - Rancho*.

I'm too lazy to go and read it, anyone know what an enthusiast site that's been around since 1997 goes for now a days? And what do you get with that? Just the domain name? The userdatabase? The servers? Just curious. |
