It is a nice mouse!
I have an MX518 which is a really good mouse no argument! Two days ago there was a post here for this Razer Plasma, I had owned years ago a Boomslang 2000 (RIP) and I decided not to get another one due to so many problems newer gens had. Well When I read the review I was able to oreder one (I knew about them but the colors offered simply sucked LOL and this plasma version is very very nice and goes along with my black Saitek Eclipse keyboard), FedEx overnight and I got it yesterday and WOWOWOW It manages to be smoother then the MX518 and even more precise. The ergonomics are subject to personal taste, I like both mice though the Razer might feel a little "small" after using the MX518 for a few month. The software seems to play along with WinXP Pro a little better then SetPoint does and for gaming, well they are both excelent but I am feeling the Razer get a little edge over the MX518 in smoothness and precision

I agree with you there JC. I used to use a Logitech MX510 until about 6 months ago then changed to a Diamondback Chameleon and loved the precision and whole feel of it. I just got my Diamondback Plasma which has an updated sensor to the Chameleon and Magma as well as looking cooler. For me the whole shape of these mice is a whole lot comfier than the Logitech MX series.

From the review:

"I opened the control panel and was amazed, Razer thought of everything! I could control the sensitivity; double click speed, and even some of the wheels options."

HOLY SHIT! THIS IS INCREDIBLE NEWS! WHAT OTHER MOUSE DRIVER WOULD POSSIBLY LET YOU DO THESE AMAZING THINGS??????? THIS REVIEW IS TOP QUALITY!
